Subject: [ptxdist] Booting my new ptxdist fails
Date: Tue, 6 Aug 2013 18:02:50 +0000 (UTC) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <loom.20130806T195943-394@post.gmane.org> (raw)
Now that I've successfully built my kernel and initrd I have attempted to
boot to it via pxe. I'm using ipxe (previously gpxe) to accomplish this.
After loading my kernel and initrd and using the boot command the monitor
flashes black for one second and then goes back to showing the ipxe output
with nothing but a blinking cursor on a new line.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what this could be? Is it possibly an
output issue with the kernel or is it something more serious like my kernel
or initrd is broken and it won't load? Is there a way to output more
verbosely so I can tell what is going on?
