Subject: [ptxdist] [PATCH] initmethod: select SYSTEMD_HELPER for systemd
Date: Tue, 13 Oct 2026 11:39:55 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <as38a-g2hjEL4iaw@lenoch> (raw)

From: Ladislav Michl <ladis@triops.cz>

Whenever SYSTEMD_HELPER is not already enabled (a new ptxconfig where
systemd is the default init method) kconfig warns:

  WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for SYSTEMD
    Depends on [n]: SYSTEMD_HELPER [=n] && INITMETHOD_SYSTEMD [=y]

Therefore select SYSTEMD_HELPER as well same as python3-gi does for
GOBJECT_INTROSPECTION_HELPER.

Signed-off-by: Ladislav Michl <ladis@triops.cz>
Fixes: be79e884c75b ("systemd: introduce SYSTEMD_HELPER helper to avoid cyclic dependencies")
