Hi Roland,
Thanks for the answer, unfortunately it doesn't help.
I already change the configuration as you explain (actually I did it before ask you) but it doesn't work.
The weird thing is that if I select "zImage" everything works, if I select "uImage" (and change nothing else, same u-boot parameters) the build fails with the message:
"make: *** data/developer/user/nfs/project/External/Sources/Linux/bsp/platform-Toradex/state/u-boot.get  Error 1"

I think this means that you need to enable u-boot to build a uImage. In ptxdist platformconfig, go to "bootloaders" -> "u-boot", select it, and fill in its version and md5sum in its submenu. These parameters are used as URL parameters in the u-boot.get stage :-)

I think you also need to select "Image Type: uImage" in "ptxdist menuconfig kernel", otherwise the kernel.compile stage will still build a zImage and the kernel.install stage will try to install a uImage and fail.
