FWIW: here you can find a ptxdist based start for the sam9x5 board series. By changing some config options it might even work for the at91sam9263ek. http://www.at91.com/linux4sam/bin/view/Linux4SAM/VideoPlayerDemo Note that it is based on an older kernel. I would go for 3.4 also, but anything since at least 2.6.33 should run on this core.
