Thanks for the response.  Yes, this is from within a clean tree.  The exact error is "mv will not overwrite just created."  For now I just do a local clone and delete the .git directory and then compress the folder and that works.  If I get a little more time I'll look a little deeper.

It should work. Is this a clean build? What's the exact error? Please send
the relevant section of the logfile.
