Well, whats the advantage of $(seq 4) over "for i in 1 2 3 4; do ..." ?

Alternatively, it is possible in just a few lines of code to check for seq or gseq within genhdimg.
SEQ=$(which seq 2>/dev/null ||which gseq 2>/dev/null)
if [[ -z $SEQ ]]; then
some error
exit 1
fi
