Subject: [ptxdist] License info for no-source packages
Date: Thu, 8 Feb 2018 14:53:18 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <69a4c512e82d4528b54984b5f80919bd@elac-wartsila.de> (raw)
Hi,
I have some ptxdist packages that do not use any source code. , For example they just make some configuration to the rootfs, like creating symlinks. So there is no real need to provide license information. But this way I get ugly warnings in the License Report (ptxdist 2015.05.0), because of unknown licenses.
What is best-practice for the LICENSE info in the rule file in that case?
Would it be possible to exclude these packages from the license report?
Thx
Michael
