[ptxdist] BSP verschoben

Ich hatte ein (na ja ...) funktionierendes BSP (BSP-Phytec-phyCARD-L-PD12.0.1) übernommen. Damit ließ sich erst nach dem Ersatz des OpenSuse tar durch eine ältere Version ein Root Dateisystem (jffs2) herstellen.

Nach no space left on device (virt. OpenSuse 17GB) habe ich eine 2. Virt.Platte eingerichtet und das komplette BSP (als user, nicht root) dorthin kopiert. Ohne erneutes menuconfig will ptxdist plötzlich Pakete, die es vorher nicht wollte, z.B.:

-        usplash_05.49

-        mkelfImage-2.7
mkelfImage konnte erst nicht gefunden werden, konnte es aber manuel finden. Danach usplash. Das war in dieser Version aber nicht zu bekommen, sondern nur usplash_05.51. Bei diesemm fehlt das configure script.

Was kann ich jetzt tun und wie kann ich in Zukunft solche Fallen beheben?

In Zukunft: Backup alle jemals runtergeladenen Tarballs! Die
verschwinden upstream auch mal von irgendwelchen FTP-Servern. Da hilft
nur: selbst sichern!

Wir machen das hier so, dass wir in `ptxdist setup` unter "Source
 Directories" ein Netzlaufwerk im lokalen Netz angeben, so dass diese
tarballs von einem Server gezogen werden, der ins normale Backup
einbezogen ist. Per default ist das der Unterordner "src" in Deinem
Workspace aka BSP, der müsste gesichert werden.

Please post you error messages. I assume ptxdist is missing some source
tarballs.

What can you to prevent this? If you start with a BSP, you should keep
your BSP in a version control system and the external sources ptxdist
downloads in a backup, too, so that you can reproduce the whole BSP on a
separate machine. Then there is no need for moving.

It's not a conflict. HOST_USPLASH is only activated by USPLASH or
ALLYES, is ALLYES active?

    ptxdist menuconfig

then use "/" to search.
