Subject: [ptxdist] [PATCH] gdk-pixbuf: version bump 2.44.4 -> 2.44.8
Date: Tue, 20 Oct 2026 17:49:32 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261020154936.3881022-1-s.pueschel@pengutronix.de> (raw)
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gdk-pixbuf/-/blob/2.44.8/NEWS
The xpm image loading now also uses glycin (rust image parsing
implementation), but it doesn't work on a certain edge case [1].
As a fix the legacy implementation can be enabled using a compile time
switch. As it defaults to being disabled also disable it for PTXDist.
As PTXDist also disables glycin, we therefore effectively disable the
xpm format with this update.
