With less v695 the lessecho binary is now located in the libexec dir, as it's an internal command not intended to be executed directly by users and shell scripts [1]. With version 710 support for the obsolete pre-241 lesskey binary format has been removed and with it also the lesskey program to generate this binary format [2].
