Subject: [ptxdist] [PATCH 1/2] dfu-util: Fix license information
Date: Tue,  5 Oct 2021 16:57:51 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20211005145752.23679-2-ada@thorsis.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20211005145752.23679-1-ada@thorsis.com>

dfu-util started with the following headers stating GPL-2.0-or-later in
2007 already, and never changed that:

 * This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
 * it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
 * the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or
 * (at your option) any later version.

buildroot and Debian come to the same conclusion. That was probably
attributed wrong in ptxdist back in 2010 (and converted twice later).

The script 'dfuse-pack.py' was introduced with v0.8 as LGPL-3.0-only.

Fixes: 01006cfdfeda ("[dfu-utils] version bump to first release 0.1")
Fixes: e4fbf806e48a ("dfu-util: version bump 0.7 -> 0.9")
