Package version bump to 1.8.28 included a configuration
change that cause runtime errors like the once below
when gcc libs are missing on target.
sudo: error while loading shared libraries: libasan.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
sudo: error while loading shared libraries: libubsan.so.1:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
