Prior to ptxdist-2018.06.0 I was able to generate a linuximage with an
embedded initramfs image within it. That is no longer working, and I'm
not sure if this is because I haven't configured my ptxconfig properly
for the new image generation code introduced in this new version of
ptxdist, or if there is something broken with the new code...

Before ptxdist-2018.06.0, the images directory would contain something like:

-rw-r--r--  1 jringle-admin jringle-admin  5374872 Jun 15 22:31 linuximage
-rw-rw-r--  1 jringle-admin jringle-admin 10999296 Jun 15 22:30 root.cpio

The config contains:
$ sed -e 's/#.*$//' -e '/^$/d' configs/ec1k-kernel/platformconfig|grep IMAGE
PTXCONF_KERNEL_IMAGE_U=y
PTXCONF_KERNEL_IMAGE="uImage"
PTXCONF_IMAGE_CPIO=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_IPKG_INDEX=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_XPKG_EXTRA_ARGS=""
PTXCONF_IMAGE_KERNEL=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_KERNEL_INITRAMFS=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_KERNEL_INSTALL_LATE=y

However, with ptxdist-2018.06.0, the images directory would contain
something like:
-rw-r--r--  1 jringle-admin jringle-admin  2606848 Jun 15 17:16 linuximage
-rw-rw-r--  1 jringle-admin jringle-admin 13411840 Jun 15 17:15 root.cpio
-rw-rw-r--  1 jringle-admin jringle-admin  5507055 Jun 15 17:15 root.tgz

From the size of the linuximage, I can tell that it does not contain
the initramfs image within it.
The config for this contains:
$ sed -e 's/#.*$//' -e '/^$/d' configs/ec1c-kernel/platformconfig|grep IMAGE
PTXCONF_KERNEL_IMAGE_U=y
PTXCONF_KERNEL_IMAGE="uImage"
PTXCONF_IMAGE_KERNEL=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_KERNEL_INITRAMFS=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_KERNEL_INSTALL_LATE=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_ROOT_CPIO=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_ROOT_TGZ=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_IPKG_INDEX=y
PTXCONF_IMAGE_XPKG_EXTRA_ARGS=""
PTXCONF_HOST_GENIMAGE=y

My fault. I've just pushed a fix. I broke this when I turned the kernel
with builtin initramfs into a image package. This means you can just copy
the fixed rules/image-kernel.make into your BSP.
