No. Its not clear and not yet meaningful. What exactly is the problem you need
to solve?
What is the problem by adding a patch to the list of patches and instructing
PTXdist to extract the archive again and apply the new list of patches? That
is where PTXdist is made for: it keeps everything you made and need to make
your target work for the future.
