Subject: [ptxdist] [ANNOUNCE] PTXdist 2012.01.0 released

Hi,
I've released PTXdist 2012.01.0, the first release for this year. This
release changes a few more things, so be careful when upgrading. So what's
new:
Programs detected in configure are now explicitly added to PATH. This
makes it possible to specify non-standard names (python2 vs. python) or
other locations explicitly when running configure.
The whole gtk+ stack was updated to the latest 3.x version.
The template code was rewritten. It should be much easier to add new
templates. I think it should even be possible to add one in a BSP,
although I don't really see a use-case for that.
I've used it to add a kernel template. So you can now have multiple kernels
in on BSP.
Extra python modules are now located in a sub-menu right next to python.
Three are also some changes to make things easier with the whole kernel.org
mess: You can now specify multiple mirrors in 'ptxdist setup'. I recommend
you use kernel.org plus on of the mirrors that has the old archives that
have not been reuploaded to kernel.org. It's also possible to specify
multiple md5sums in case there are versions with the same content but
different md5sum. There are currently 2 packages like that in PTXdist.
Thanks to all contributers. As always the shortlog below.
Enjoy,
Michael Olbrich
